Built-in gigabit ethernet not working
This is a discussion about Built-in gigabit ethernet not working in the Linux Hardware category; Hi! I just bought an Abit IC7-G mobo (i875) with a 3. 0GHz P4. In WinXP the system runs fine, but after having installed Red Hat 9 there seem to be no support for the onboard Intel Pro/1000 CT ethernet adapter.
Hi!
I just bought an Abit IC7-G mobo (i875) with a 3.0GHz P4. In WinXP the system runs fine, but after having installed Red Hat 9 there seem to be no support for the onboard Intel Pro/1000 CT ethernet adapter. Any ideas how I could rectify this issue? I'm a rookie Linux user, so pardon me if this is a stupid question..
Appreciate any help.
