Amavis Installation

This is a discussion about Amavis Installation in the Linux Software category; Hi there Someone knows what Select /usr/bin/newaliases means while i try to install amavis within Yast ? Says amavis requires /usr/bin/newaliases which is there (SuSE 8. 1 pro) Thank you.

Someone knows what

"Select /usr/bin/newaliases" means while i try to install amavis

within Yast ? Says amavis requires /usr/bin/newaliases which is there

(SuSE 8.1 pro)

well part of the answer to your question is right here http://www.linuxvalley.it/encyclopedia/ldp/manpage/man1/newaliases.1.php Looks like you need to configure some sort of mail settings to make it work right. More info on what Amavis is would be good too. Thanks!
