Adaptec 2810SA

This is a discussion about Adaptec 2810SA in the Linux Hardware category; Hi I'm currently using a LSI Logic Megaraid i4 card and get really poor performance out of it. So i was thinking about buying a Adaptect 2810SA but was wondering if anyone who had tried using this (RAID-5), could give me some feedback on the read/write performance.
