Works partially, but there seems to be a problem with the newer distros using d-Bus / HAL; drive hangs, causing HAL to hang - requires system reboot. Have found problem occurs on - FC3; SuSE 9.2; Ubuntu Warty & Hoary. Others appear to have had similar problems (Googling around). Beware.
