uninstalling nvidia video driver.

hello, I am running fedora core 5 and installed the nvidia video driver from rpm. livna. org Now I want to remove it and go back to the driver that came with the fedora cd installation. How do i uninstall it? I am new to linux so please explain the process in detail.

Any help would be appreciated. . I've got Mandriva 2005 on a sony viao, I've installed the card using the built in gui for ndiswrapper. The card will not show my router. Oh, another wierd thing. . It won't work over ethernet either.

mandrake 10 installaion

i tried to install mandrake 10 by booting my sys with the 1st cd at first i see the opening menue and its all good after that i need to press <ENTER> to install mandrake. there is an error messege <cant find cdrom> how can it be???!? btw i using my dvd r as my cdrom could it be that ????.

DWL650+ not recognized/no power - SuSE 10.0

Anyone else had this problem? I've tried installing native drivers, NDISWrapper with the windoze drivers but no luck! I messed up my installation with some of the stuff I tried so I just reinstalled but can't get SuSE to recognized my D-Link DWL650+ WLAN card.

I have a new HP zv6000 laptop with a 64bit processor and when I go to install Suse 10. 0 it requests that I insert a 'driver update floppy'. The install will not proceed any further and I don’t know exactly what this driver update is.

I am a newbie to Linux. I have two IDE hdds connected to my system. I want dual boot between SuSE and RHEL OSs. Already I had RH adn XP as dual boot. Once i installed Suse on the 2nd HDD I can see only SuSE and XP.

I have an external USB cable modem - Motorola SB4200. I have successfully used this for years with Mandrake9. 2 (and WindowsXP). But I find the internet modules in YaST too numerous and too confusing.

hello frds. . i've dual OS(xp and FC4)in a single HDD. . . i've been workin in both my OS perfectly. . since im doin my project usin PHP/Mysql/apache,i chose the services from the menu. . that is, i enabled my httpd and mysqld services(i didnot install any apache,mysql,php) as it was built in the OS.

I'm a Linux Newbie basically still trying to figure Linux out in general. I graduated from XP Pro to x64 about 4 months ago with basically no issues. Love it. I don't know enough about Linux to know how the systems might react in dual boot.
