Any alternatives to trillian?

Hello all, I have looked, but my searches keep giving lots of useless information. . . I am looking for a product that is similar to Trillian in function, but that uses NO skins, or at least allows for skins to be turned off, so that the programs will use normal windows interface objects.

HOW TO UNINSTALL RED HAT 9.0

I am new to Linux I install Red hat 9. 0. I need to know how to completely remove it from the hard drive to install windows XP. Is it something that I have to do with the windows disc or with the linux disc.

They just give out so damn much advice!!!! I personally think Alex is a lot more knowledgable when it comes to the technical side of things however Adam seems to know how to fix most problems posted on these forums.

i have found this problem to 2 computers last week and i cant find a solution. . . . the computers conect to the net but is like they did not!!!!! i have cleaned the pc with adware and antivirus programs and nothing.

Hey guys. I'm after a new graphics card but I don't know if my motherboard has an AGP slot or not. Can anyone tells me what it looks like/how to find out or where it is on the motherboard. I have 3 white PCI slots, should it be near these???.

cant connect MDK 9.2 to my LAN

hellooo everyone im using LAN to connect to the internet under my XP i tried so disparatly to connect my Mandrake 9. 2 to the internet but it wont connect at all these are my infos from ipconfig under XP *************************************** Connection-specific DNS Suffix.

Mandrake 9.2 DHCP problem

HI friends, I am using Windows XP and recently I installed Mandrake 9. 2 in my PC. I connect to internet via a router. In WinXP DHCP client is getting enabled automatically but in Mandrake linux what should I do / How I enable DHCP client so that an IP is assigned automatically by the router.

How do Compatability results get posted?

I've posted compatability results for some games but they haven't shown up. Is there something in particular I or someone must to do clear them for display on the site? Or is there a delay before a post is put up? I looked around for info about this on the site, but couldn't find a thing.

Hello everyone Its been a while since I've been on this forum but now I'm back. Thanks to help from people here I have been using Red Hat 9 happily for a few months. Well maybe not so happily. . . I'm never going back to Windows now but I really hope I can get a better distro.

Harddrive size recognition problem

Well I resently Installed Mandrake 10 on my computer, completely replacing Windows XP. during the setup my C: drive was identified as a 37gb hard drive. when I started up my computer I noticed that at the file/ that the size of my drive was about 6gb.

cant mount digital camera

Hello I'm using suse 8. 2. I have a sony dsc P12 camera and in the compatibility list there is written, that I should mount the camera as following: mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/p12 but if I do that this error appears: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device.
