n00bs on Ubuntu posted a guide about installing Pyrenamer on Ubuntu 10.10
I needed to rename the photo collection from my parents and found me an easy to install and just as easy to use application called "pyRenamer". With pyRenamer you can change the name of several files at the same time easily. It is written using PyGTK for the GNOME desktop, altought it will work in any PyGTK enabled environment (KDE, XFCE, even Windows), and it's licensed under the GPL.
