Tried to get it to work under SuSE 9.0, Very difficult, needs a lot of other packages for installation. And there is always an error in installation!

No problem with SuSE 9 Pro, Tiscali France using the PPPOA stack provided by Sagem, had problems to begin with but I can install the modem drivers etc and access the net from a fresh install in about 7 minutes.

I have the SAGEM FAST 800 on Mandrake 10.1 it works perfect if you NO NOT USE THE HARDDRAKE 'new network connection', for one thing it destroys all manner of scripts, just install Mdk 10.1 and then open a terminal,in your 'user' account, type 'su', your'password' and then type 'eagleconfig' go through all the set up i.e country 'UK01', then your broadband account '1234@internet.net'and then 'account password', now type 'eaglectrl -w' wait then 'startadsl'. Now the problem is getting the thing to boot at install - but that my young Penguini is for you to resolve, may your Linus powers help. ;-}
