Runs under Mandrake 10.0 and Fedora Core 3. Mandrake 10.1 has a bug and there are problems with the scanner over-running the scan area.

Requires firmware loaded. Create directory:
/usr/local/lib/sane/firmware/
put firware file u96v121.bin in this directory, then in the firmware section of the /etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf file, add
/usr/local/lib/sane/firmware/u96v121.bin

Your scanner should now work in Xsane and Kooka.
