Compatibility Reports for WG311T Wireless PCI Adapter

I've run this card on Fedora Core 6, SuSE 10.1, Ubuntu 6.10 and it works well.

Each time I've downloaded the source for the MadWifi driver (madwifi.org) and compiled from scratch.

Each OS has a slightly different set of boot configurations but all are reasonably easy to solve by reviewing the doc on the Madwifi web site and some knowledge of scripting.

All of these OS's have packages as well if you're not keen on the fine points...

Best wifi hardware so far...

This PCI Network Card uses an Atheros chip, so the madwifi driver is the right one.
With my Ubuntu 5.10 I haven't any problems so I suppose it works also with higher Ubuntu-versions.
To get WPA encryption you have to configure wpa_supplicant .
