Yes, this camera works fine under Linux. But in order to make it work, you need to follow the instructions in the gphoto2 documentation. Go to " http://gphoto.sourceforge.net/doc/manual/permissions-usb.html" for more information. A camera dock is not necessary.

Detect as USB PTP Class Camera. Can submit Photos with gtkam or with "camera:/" within Konqueror without problems.
