Not yet supported by SANE.

This scanner is based on a RealTek RTS8891 chip of wich there aren't specs. It's not supported by sane, there's only an unofficial driver at http://reapoff.sourceforge.net/hpscanner/Default.htm\ but it doesn't still works well.

That said, it only a little bit better than nothing: the project is stalled.

Once i got a not so bad color scan ( manually aligning rgb levels with the gimp after the scan ), but 95% of the time i obtained garbage with color mode.

Instead 300dpi grayscale worked...
