Adding /mnt/flash to /etc/fstab worked for my Cruzer Micro 128MB stick on Fedora Core 1. Thanks for the great tip!

This stick also worked "out of the box" on Suse 9.1 without any addition to /etc/fstab or other effort. It's mounted to /media/usb(long name).
