Wine Release 10.15 Now Available

The latest development release of Wine, version 10.15, is now available for download. This release includes various bug fixes, new features, and updates to existing functionality.

New Features in Release 10.15:
  • Unicode character tables have been updated to Unicode 17.0.0.
  • Zip64 support has been added to the Packaging services.
  • Various other improvements and bug fixes have been made throughout the codebase.
Bug Fixes in Release 10.15:

A total of 16 bugs have been fixed in this release, including:

  • Regression issue with Visual Studio 2005 "package load failure"
  • Dropdowns rendered as top-level on Wayland
  • X11DRV_SetCursorPos breaks when xinput "Coordinate Transformation Matrix" is customized
  • Multiple games crashes with new wow64 ("pop gs" behaves differently in 64bit compatibility mode)
  • Sims 2 black-screen when running with Nvidia 470.256.02 and dxvk 1.10.3
Changes since Release 10.14:

Numerous changes have been made to the codebase since the previous release, including:

  • Wineboot has been fixed to prevent a memory leak
  • FAudio has been updated to version 25.09
  • PNG has been updated to version 1.6.50
  • The config.guess and config.sub scripts have been upgraded
  • Makedep has been improved to build tool names once at startup
