SparkyLinux has released version 8.0.1 with minor updates to its live/install ISO images. The new ISO images fix an issue in the Calamares installer that prevented it from properly setting up a system on an encrypted disk. Users who already have Sparky installed do not need to reinstall, as they can simply keep their system up to date. The updated ISO images are available for download on the SparkyLinux stable page.

Sparky 8.0.1

There is a minor update of live/install ISO images of Sparky of the stable line 8.0.1.

The new ISO images feature fixed issue of the Calamares installer which did not set a new system well on an encrypted disk.

There is no need to reinstall Sparky if you have it already installed, simply keep Sparky up to date.
