The latest version of OBS Studio, 32.0.4, has been released to address several long-standing issues that users have been experiencing. A significant improvement in scene management allows deleted scenes to no longer leave their audio sources lingering in the Audio Mixer, preventing clutter and frustration. Additionally, the update resolves performance lag with audio devices caused by earlier changes, resulting in a smoother experience for many users who rely on their audio gear. The release also fixes a small but annoying glitch where the user interface wouldn't always update correctly to reflect changes in transition durations.

Scene management got a key improvement; deleting a scene no longer leaves its audio sources hanging around in the Audio Mixer. That was frustrating before, especially when your audio settings could get cluttered fast.

Another big thing is smoother performance with audio devices. Earlier changes introduced deduplication logic that caused some lag for certain setups. This update resolves it, so things should just run a bit more smoothly now for many users relying on their audio gear.

Finally, version 32.0.4 also tackles a small but annoying glitch: the user interface wasn't always updating correctly to show changes in transition durations.
