One notable change in this version is the reversal of a previous update that removed the ability to load plugins built for older versions of OBS Studio on Linux systems.

Furthermore, the default bitrate has been adjusted from 2500 Kbps to 6000 Kbps. Additionally, Hybrid MP4/MOV containers have become the new default format for this version of OBS Studio.

The Plugin Manager UI has undergone some adjustments. These changes aim to enhance user experience and improve overall navigation within the plugin management system.

A memory leak issue that occurred when attempting to output hybrid MP4 files to non-writable locations has also been resolved.

Another significant bug fix addresses a UI deadlock that occurred on Windows systems with a specific setting enabled. A 200 ms delay has been implemented before creating the properties window, which helps prevent this issue from arising when opening source properties from the Sources list.

Moreover, an important problem has been addressed where Multitrack Video could still be enabled after switching from a service that supports it to one that does not.
