ML4W Dotfiles for Hyprland 2.9.9.6 released
A new update has landed for the ML4W Dotfiles aimed at Hyprland. If you're not familiar with it, Hyprland is an open-source window manager focused on providing adaptable workspaces.
This latest version hits the Dotfiles Installer app first. It brings fresh themes, specifically a refreshed Glass and Transparent one, which users can activate through their usual settings app. These new styles let folks customize their desktops with modern looks that feel sleek.
Fedora 43 users get some script fixes in this release, smoothing out how they handle the configuration setup. Beyond those tweaks, nwg-look has gained global font settings for easier refinement if you're using its power to personalize your look.
There's also good news about a specific theme component: the Quicklinks module within the Glass and Transparent Waybar theme is now fixed. This helps make that part of the interface run more smoothly than before.
Hyprland's whole approach, being modular, really shines here too. It empowers users to build their own setup from essential components tailored just for how they work, which makes sense because these updates feel relevant.
On distribution support: Fedora and openSUSE users are covered but might encounter some bumps depending on specifics; Arch Linux has broader compatibility with the full features available right out of the box.
