KDE contributors have made a number of bug fixes and enhancements in the August release of KDE Plasma 6.4.4. These include resolving issues with Kwin's plugins and network, as well as forcing alerts to be stored in the past if they were triggered in D&D. The full changelog includes removing the FreeBSD and Windows Qt5 pipelines, locating Flatpak and Dr. Konqi, and preventing CoreImage from becoming invalid. The update also fixes problems with the Plasma Audio Volume Control and Plasma Network Manager.

KDE Plasma 6.4.4, Bugfix Release for August

Today KDE releases a bugfix update to KDE Plasma 6, versioned 6.4.4.

Plasma 6.4 was released in June 2025 with many feature refinements and new modules to complete the desktop experience.

This release adds three weeks’ worth of new translations and fixes from KDE’s contributors. The bugfixes are typically small but important and include:
