New Features and Improvements
This release marks the culmination of efforts from the KDE Frameworks team, with numerous enhancements and bug fixes contributing to a more stable and efficient platform. Some notable improvements include:
- Baloo: A fix has been applied to the casing of the ecm_generate_headers prefix argument value.
- Breeze Icons: Several issues have been resolved in this release, including sorting generated qrc files (bug #508718), removing non-standard colorful app icon sizes (bug #508299), and replacing symlinks with actual file references.
- Extra CMake Modules: New features have been added to ecm_generate_headers, including documentation for target include directories that require no extra setup. Additionally, missing RUNSTATEDIR has been added to KDEInstallDirsCommon.
- Framework Integration: Popups are now enabled for device notifications.
- KArchive: Bugs have been fixed in the 7z module, including initialization of seqInStream and coderIndex variables (bugs #508717, #508718), crash fixes on malformed files (bugs #508719, #508720), and improved tests.

- KTextEditor: Kate modeline autocompletion has been added, performance issues with deleting multiple lines have been fixed, and selection drawing for block selection has been improved.
