Fractal 12.1 has been released to fix a regression issue that prevented sending media through unauthenticated endpoints. The new release also includes several minor fixes, known as "papercut" fixes. Fractal is a Matrix messaging app for GNOME written in Rust, designed for large group collaboration with features such as end-to-end encryption and screen optimization. Its user interface allows users to send formatted messages, view media directly, and manage multiple accounts with Single-Sign-On support.

Our latest stable release had a regression where sending media with the unauthenticated endpoints was failing. This new release fixes it, and provides a couple other papercut fixes.

Fractal is a Matrix messaging app for GNOME written in Rust. Its interface is optimized for collaboration in large groups, such as free software projects, and will fit all screens, big or small.
