Bazaar 0.5.2 released
A new version, 0.5.2, has been released for the Bazaar App Store. This software manages FlatPak packages and offers several key updates and improvements to enhance user experience.
One of the primary updates involves the integration of a brand-new Adw.ShortcutsDialog feature. This change aims to provide users with a more refined and user-friendly interface by reorganizing available shortcuts in a cleaner and easier-to-use layout.
In addition, multiple translations have been updated to ensure that users from different regions can effectively interact with Bazaar. These updates include the improvement of Ukrainian and Polish translations, allowing for greater accessibility across various languages.
Furthermore, several UI improvements have been implemented to enhance overall visibility. For instance, the add-on feature has become more visible thanks to a redesign that improves its placement on the screen. Similarly, the Flathub views now appear denser and with fewer partial lines, providing users with an easier browsing experience.
A notable update involves changing the per-section limit on the Flathub page from 9 to 12 items. This modification aims to provide users with more flexibility when browsing available packages.
Other key updates include changes to the app tiles' text color calculation and the addition of installed icons to these tiles. These enhancements aim to make the interface more intuitive and user-friendly, providing a smoother overall experience for Bazaar users.
Additional features have been implemented, such as saving window size in gsettings, preventing invalid item selection, and refining HTTP timeout to 5 seconds. These updates demonstrate a commitment to continually improving and refining the performance and usability of the Bazaar App Store.
