ArchInstall 3.0.13 released
Archinstall, the installer for Arch Linux, has just gotten an update. The latest version brings with it several key improvements that should make navigating the installation process easier and more streamlined.
One notable feature is a new Wi-Fi connection menu that relies on textual inputs instead of graphical interfaces. This change aims to provide users with a more intuitive and user-friendly experience during the installation process.
In addition to these new features, the latest version of Archinstall also includes several bug fixes designed to resolve issues that had been plaguing previous versions of the installer. For instance, there was an issue where mkinitcpio.conf would sometimes contain a trailing "o," which could cause syntax problems when running mkinitcpio -P.
Beyond these major updates, there have been numerous other changes implemented in the new version of Archinstall. The goal of these tweaks is to enhance the overall user experience and resolve any lingering issues in the installation process. One example is the addition of a previously missing --script option to the documentation for pre-programmed scripts, which should help users take full advantage of this feature.
