GNOME Nettool 1.3.92 has been released

GNOME Nettool is a network information tool which provides user interfaces for some of the most common command line network tools, like ping, whois, traceroute, etc.

It was originally based on Mac OS X's network information tool, but has since then improved over so much that it now clearly exceeds Mac OS X's tool with more features and a better UI.

This is the final release candidate for 2.12. Testing this release is strongly encouraged. It should compile on a GNOME 2.10 system without any extra libraries.

gtkmm 2.7 wraps new API in GTK+ 2.8, and is API/ABI-compatibile with gtkmm 2.4 and 2.6.

This is the last release before gtkmm 2.8.0, so it's your very last chance to find API problems.

gtkmm stays in-sync with GTK+ by following the official GNOME release schedule: http://www.gnome.org/start/unstable/

Bindings for the rest of the GNOME Platform are also available, and are also API-stable.

Abakus version 0.90 has just been released.

- What is it? --

Abakus is a calculator for KDE with a significantly different GUI style tha
n most calculators you may be used to. It was inspired by a rant the author saw online (which you can view at http://dot.kde.org/1096309744/). Unfortunately, the code included with the rant wasn't really suited to fast startup, and was kind of limited besides, so I decided to do something about
it. The result is a calculator tuned for the way we work on computers. There are no simulated buttons, no digits to click on. Instead, you just type your expression in, and hit Enter.

Abakus supports variables (including the automatic last-result variable, an
s), user-defined functions, and the rest of the basics. It also has a compact mode should you ever need to put it always-on-top, and rather nice drag-and-drop, including a little bubble showing you exactly what you're dragging.

- Wow, you filled a massive gaping hole in my life, where can I find thi

All distributors are advised to update to this version asap if they have upgraded to pango > 1.8.1, since older anjuta versions are unusable with the newer pango versions.
