A CentOS to AlmaLinux conversion script is now available for testing. AlmaLinux is a RHEL fork from CloudLinux that is currently in beta testing. It is not recommended to upgrade a production machine to AlmaLinux Beta after there is no security support yet.
The first beta version of AlmaLinux 8.3 is now available for testing. AlmaLinux is a fork of RHEL from the developers behind CloudLinux and a drop in replacement for CentOS 8.
A beta version of AlmaLinux, the RHEL fork from CloudLinux, will be released in the next couple of days. A preview of the AlmaLinux desktop background has been released on Dropbox to ease the anticipation.
