Mozilla 0.9.8 under Windows XP

FredBezies
Just a few words to say what I think about Moz 0. 9. 8. It works great, and is as fast as IE 6. 0. From now, I think I will use Mozilla as my default browser ! 🙂 Try it, you will love it !.

Lewis vs. Tyson :)

Palos
Muhhahaa, has little do to with Computers, but we should try to have some fun as well, don't we Quote from CNN's Larry King Live Transcript: Lewis claims he was bitten on his leg in last week's melee while Tyson was on the ground.

Linux Playstation 2

sapiens74
That is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Examples: 1. I just bought a memory card for my Ps2 and I need instructions on recompiling the kernel 2. How do I mount the GTA3 CD 3. What's the command to start a game? 4.

Geek code blocks

felix
Why is it that we do not see many Geek code blocks anymore? The last one I saw was attached to a Unix Guru's email sig. I think they are a great way of confusing users/lamers. .

AOL shuts out users in battle over IM

OLEerror
Funny, wasn't part of the agreement that allowed AOL to purchase Time/Warner that they would open up their IM? Why aren't the states running in threatening to break up AOL, now?

Suggestions

Duncan
Is it possible to sort the lists? They don't seem to be listed alphabetically. Also it would be nice to be able to filter the lists by OS. Just a thought. Thanks.

Wireless Technology

jLO
2. 4GHz Wireless Technology is one of the best features the Xcam2 has. Picture quality is razor sharp. Other features are also outstanding. If you don’t ascribe to my views, go. .

Verizon = Hell on Earth

Atreyu
I need an outlet, and I thought the other forum at NTCompatible would be a fitting place. . How else to describe my rage towards Verizon other than to say they are without competition, the most unorganized, poorly-managed, incompetent, selfish, deceiving, and careless company I’ve ever dealt with.

Mousy Question

pbuckne
What do you think the coolest gaming mouse would be? Doesn't have to exist yet. For me, I would want it to combine the purported accuracy of the Wingman with the A4tech (yes, A4tech) four button, two scroll wheel mouse, and the Logitech Ifeel model.

Apple

sapiens74
Just wanted to know what your opinion of Apple is. I used to have a passionate hate for Mac users but I think Apple has really made some great contributions to the home pC experience. I thought I 'd never say that.

Turn an IBM Travelstar Drive into a Protable Firewire Drive

dcxman
Hi guys. I just upgraded my laptop hard drive and now have a 10GB IBM Travelstar Drive (DJSA-210) left over. instead of letting it gather dust on my shelf or go through the headaches of selling it on EBAY, I was wondering if it was possible to pick up a small firewire drive casing for this Travelstar.

Speaker recommendations?

AndyFair
OK - I've decided it's time to update my PC speakers from the 2 poxy little things that sit beside my monitor. So what do you guys use? Any recommendations. Cost not so much of an issue - I'd rather pay decent money for something that sounds good and lasts a few years rather than go the cheap and cr@ppy route.

After having a recent bout with Qwest I want to know what your Opinions are on so called high speed internet. My first of impression is that it's a joke. In korea I got 5 Mb DSL for 26 bucks a month.

What keyboard do you use?

pmistry
Might be a silly question, but I just want to know. On my Athlon system I still use a Honeywell 101-key AT keyboard which I had first had with my 486, then used it with my Pentium, and now I am using it my Athlon.

To Overclock or Not To Overclock, That is the Question

insaNity
In response to that article: Quote:Amdmb. com has posted an editorial called To Overclock or Not To Overclock, That is the Question. Let’s get down to business. Why overclock? Why not overclock? Anyone who knows me, or has seen my posts in the forums knows that I totally do not understand the point of overclocking ...
