New to digital video

Bursar
I'm looking to get started in DV, but only as a hobby. This means no really expensive toys to play with. I was looking at the Panasonic DV27 and DV28 cameras. Now, as far as I can tell, they are exactly the same apart from the the DV28 has DV in enabled, and the DV27 does not.

In regards to that SQL DDoS story

clutch
I posted the following to their messageboard after reading that wonderful (*cough*, *cough*) article: Quote:Umm, I wish the person quoted would have actually installed SQL 2K server, as it DOES ask for an Admin password during installation.

Go Buffs!

CUViper
Any other fans of CU or Nebraska football out there? That's a game I won't miss tomorrow - too bad I couldn't get tickets, it should be an awesome game. Sure hope CU can pull the upset this year. . .

I love Front Page

Brian Frank
Says it all. Makes doing webpages a hell of a lot easier and error free! That and a nice student discount got me it for ten bucks. . . .

Been to Best Buy Lately?

clutch
I ripped this from Lowtax at as his server has had issues (but is getting better, thanks to aroma therapy). I recently read some of the various critical acclaims lavished upon the original Silent Hill, so this weekend I decided to purchase its sequel, appropriately named Silent Hill 2, for the Playstation 2.

Any way to remap keyboard keys?

Jobe
Are there any programs that will let you remap keyboard keys, or are they basically set in stone? I use the keypad all the time when filling in forms and typing numeric passwords, but I always have to use the other hand or reach over to Tab to the next textbox.

updated software for XP?

der King Mongo
Seems like there are some major applications not running under XP (well. . . major to me, let's say). Timbuktu (build 853), and EZ CD Creator are both buggy, although EZCD is the worst of the lotI can't shut down XP with EZCD installed.

Make infecting your IIS box a WHOLE lot easier...

clutch
There are kind of old, but I just read them for the first time last night and I thought I would pass them on to you guys. As I don't get infected by these things, it's nice to see that MS is helping out my situation quite a bit.
