I have finally (after 3 weeks) gotten Mandrake 10. 1 community installed and working. First question: how do I increase the size of the type in open office for file edit view insert etc? The rest of the program works OK but I need a magnifying glass to read the selections.

too complicated to use! driving me nutts1 I'm a computer science for god's sake and even I can't figure out! just imagine your typical college student trying to figure it out. Like give him an NIC and tell him all you need to do is re-compie your kernel.

Layout Request: Google-Search

Couldn't the Search Google-item get the same options as the Site Search-item (Web, NT, Linux). While keeping it placed just below the Search Forum-item, along with a small comment in the Search Forum-item that one might consider using the Search Google-item for searching the forum.

Enable DGA SuSE 8.2

Does anyone know how I can get dga enabled in SuSE 8. 2 I have apt-get enabled - can I install anything or modify a config file to enable it? Dell Dimension 8200 Pentium 4 1. 8 Ghz GeForceFX 5200 Ultra 128 HDA 160 GB HDB 40 GB.

Eggcups causing Gnome to die.

Hi gents. After using Kde for a while I decided to jump back in to Gnome only to be greeted by these two errors; Clicking restart or close results in an endless cycle of error prompts, they don't go away.

Hello, I was just wondering if there are any web design tools like dreamweaver out there for linux (in. RPM,. BIN, SH format please. Tar is hard :|). I know HTML quite well but I dont know java script,xhtml,dhtml or anything.

Linksys Broadband Router - some websites are inaccessible

Recently I bought a Linksys Cable/DSL Router (model BEFSR41 V3) to share my DSL connection with several PC's without having to have a PC turned on to share it (previously that was the setup - 1 PC was directly connected to the DSL modem and utilized Internet Connection Sharing).

Call of Duty, wiht loki installed, but it wont start

Call of Duty installed successfull wiht the loki installer but it says Winex not in your path and the readme says to do this I have Cedega (winex 4. 0) installed and get allways the message: Wine(X) not in your PATH 1.

Yesterday I finally got tired of my Yoper linux distro, and dumped it in favor of SuSE 8. 2 Pro - which was my first boxed distro. I upgraded to KDE 3. 3, and got it all set up like I like it. Next was my games.

StarCraft under wine problem

i try to run sc under wine but i have a problem. when i login as a root starcraft runs properly but there is no response from my keyboard and mouse and then my system crash. I have Red Hat 9. 0 and wine 05.
