hi, this is my first time to post any trouble on this forum. Hope for better result. I am using PCQLinux 2004 Newdawn based on 2. 6. 2-1. 160 Kernel Version. I have Liteon company's External DVD R/RW Burner which i connect on USB Cable ( i think it is USB Printer Cable ).

Heya folks, Well i finally decided to ditch Windows XP and have a good play with Linux. So, I formatted my drive and installed Mandrake 10 from scratch, leaving it to sort out the partitions itself etc.

When i tried to install NB 3. 5+j2sdk, the installer quit without previous advise, neither graphical nor by console. with NB 3. 6 happened something similar, graphical mode didn't work, and by console quit as well, then i used the -silent flag, and it was supossed to be installed, but when i try to exec.

trouble accessing amsn after .bin installation

Cheapest place to get HP 6578 color cartridges

I gave up on the refilled color cartridges. Nothing but problems. I am looking for somewhere that sells the new ones for $28 or less. I did come across one once, but don't remember who. A search didn't really turn up anything either.

hey, i got mandrake 10. 0 and a lifeview 2000/3000 tv card. And the system recognize a phillips boradcast or something like that but im still can see tv. . please help me. i think that linux rocks! but that is the only one thing why im using windows.

GNOME boot error

When I booted my laptop this morning and tried logging into GNOME, I got the standard blue background and xterm in a window. Just started this morning. Yesterday, I used apt-get to add a bunch of the packages I could have added on installation and didn't at the time, as well as adding Totem and the supporting RPMs.
