Ok, I've come to grips w/ the GRUB config,,, I put XP back up on C: and allowed GRUB to load to the MBR (for my Debian on the slave) thus, if I blow (umm, when) my debian install, fdisk /MBR will give me a working XP.

It's like a recent Canon digital camera that comes in two versions, the profesional and a consumer, with the pro going for around $500 more. But if you get the consumer version and get a hack for the firmware it now has most of the functionality of the pro version.

hi maybe this is silly i dont know, ive fixed so i can mount my ntfs windows drive, but i got another partition also which i wanna mount and it says the type is Win95 Ext'd (LBA). . . how can i mount this one ? Im not sure whats up with this one 🙂I know its NTSF though.

Can anyone point me in the direction of an iTunes-like store to purchase and download music? I used buymusic. com while in Windows, but I'm trying to use Linux as much as possible. Aside from just finding a freebie MP3 out there on some FTP server, I'd rather pay for it ala.

Hi, I've loaded Debain to my slave w/ Grub to its boot record. Is there a 'simple' entry for my boot. ini (xp on master primary) that will redirect the boot loader to grub (i. e. load debian)??? ~tia.
