PC Stalling during Bootup while "Starting Network"

I have posted on this topic before but am still having problems. I have a desktop with two hard drives. I have Win 2000 on the local disk, and have installed Fedora COre 1 on the slave drive, using the GRUB boot loader at startup to choose between the two.

Anyone know how to fix this prob. . . whenever i go to change cd roms during installation, it says the new cd rom can't be mounted. . . . the fricking work. . . and if i use my second cd rom drive it will auto change to that one but when it is done witht hat cd it says it can't unmount it even though i can open the ...

I have a CompactFlash reader that my system seems to find, but it does not seem to be mounted. I suppose it would need to be in the fstab and/or the mtab. does anybody know how I can set it up, or at least determine if it is found by the system? I use Knoppix/Debian.

Hello, I'm working with Mandrake 9. 2. on the IceWM Window Manager. I've tried installing Mozilla from the Mandrake ISO discs. It shows up in the menu, but when I click it nothing happens. Well, the hard-disk starts working, but Mozilla won't start.

How can I route internet traffic from two seperate network connections to my linux box. At any given time one connection WILL be down, no questions asked, (it's just that way, deal with it). My primary interface is eth0, a internal NIC Intel pro/100 (eepro100 kernel module, I think).

Ight, i got vnc to work throughout my lan network(well minus getting my linux to work as a remote desktop, but i can connect to other comps on my lan). . . so now i'm trying to get it work to liek my friends networks.

cdROM mount problem

This is a bit wierd. My cdROM seems to mount properly on boot and I can play audio CDs, but I can't see any files on a data CD and when I run Mandrake 9. 2 rpmDrake to add packages, it refers to a CD on device.
