non raid controller cards

I am using a non raid promise fast track controler card for my hard drives since I am running 3 physical drives. everytime i try to install mandrake it gets to a certian point and hangs up right after i tell it what kind of mouse i have.

Another MDK 9.1 problem(usb mouse)

I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3. 0 USB In MDK 9, the mouse did not function at all using the USB connector, I had to use the USB-to-PS/2 adaptor which came with the mouse to be able to use it.

Mandrake 9.1 and IBM Thinkpad T23

Hey, I am hoping someone can help me, I have just tried to install Mandrake 9. 1 onto an IBM Thinkpad T23, the install went without hitch however on the final boot all I get is a black screen with an arrow mouse cursor.

Getting mad at Mandrake

I have tried everything under the sun trying to get mandrake installed as a dual boot with XP. I read that this is suppose to be easy to install but all I run into it seems is problems. I boot the computer with disk 1 and the disk restarts my puter.

Well, this newbie is throughly impressed to say the least. The latest releases of OpenOffice and Mozilla are a nice touch. The hardware recognition on my desktop and laptop were flawless. Installed Wine, Sun Java JRE 1.

I was noticing today that every post in the forums has the persons name and the level of membership. The level of membership seems to coincide with the number of posts that person has made. Junior member is under 20 posts (I think) member more than 20 but less than.
