Having read a load of good stuff about Mandrake 9. 1 Final (Bamboo) I downladed the 3 Cd's (Nearly 10 hours - even on fast connection due to overload of Mirrors) Booted up - PCMCIA started I thought Good.

Help how to install Remote Serious Sam 1 Dedicated Server

I am a relative newbie at Linux and have a remote server that I would like to run a Serious Sam server. Could someone please tell me how I can install Serious Sam (1st encounter) on my remote box. I have the binaries, 1b, 2, and 3 version and have the CD here.

I have a problem with my sound card, when i try to load the module, it say no such device. It don't work with alsa too. But the sound card works fine with windows. i d'ont understand why if you have any idea, thanks Sorry for my bad english i'am just a little french.

Hi all. Anyone know if its possible to download SP2 for IE 5. 5 as a stand alone package? If I try to get it from MS I can only choose to download a 500kb installer program - I want the full package to put on a CD.

Yo Peeps, I decided to ressurect my old HP Vectra P166 And am at this moment instaling Mandrake 9. 1 Beta RC2. So. . . . I will let you know how it goes. It is taking a while on this old system. . hehe Anyways.

I recently submitted game compatibility results (alittle over a week) but they never made it online. . was wondering if theres something Im doing wrong. . I tried submitting 2 differant times, the game in question is Magic Carpet 2 ,it works fine in Windows XP SP1 on 2 differant PC's I have here.
