Here's my idea: You know those micro radio-controlled cards made by Tomy (mine's called a Char-g I think) well I am thinking about buying a second one of the same frequency so that I can drive two from one control box.

I have a Thinkpad A21e which has a winmodem which does not have a Linux driver. I bought an external serial modem known to work with Linux, and have it working under Windows 2000 - but only after I disabled the winmodem through Windows.
Help this newbe and maybe more will follow ;)

I use this program alot for work on Windows 2000. I heard that it is possible to run it on Linux and be more stable and a bit faster. How would I go about doing this? I use Redhat 8 if that makes much of a difference.

Can anybody out there offer me any help? I've upgraded my video card to a Built-By-ATI Radeon 9000 Pro. Using ATI's 2. 5. 1 drivers, I consistently receive segmentation faults in both Unreal Tournament and FlightGear.

Has anybody been able to get hardware acceleration for this card under Linux? If so, could you possible send me to where I could find very good step by step documentation on how to do this? I'm kinda new, and I would like to be able to play games under linux with this card and even possible watch some DVD's or some ...

Hey All, I was wondering if anyone had experience with ATI's Radeon Mobility 7500 in XFree86, specifically the 3D acceleration. Just picked up a new Fujitsu Lifebook E-7110 with one of these video chipsets, and can't seem to get the 3D working right with it.

OK, I am trying to burn MP3s to CD-A in RH8, and I am running into roadblocks here. First, I am using the Gnome interface, which would be great to use eroaster in except it needs the pygnome-applet which in turn needs libpanel_applet.
