Raspberry Pi computer has now clocked two million sales

The Raspberry Pi went on sale in February 2012 and sold its first million in a year. Raspberry Pi Foundation spokesperson Liz Upton said that the outfit was not expecting to double up quite so soon, but is rather pleased to find out that it has.

"We calculated that we might, if we were lucky, reach the second million around January 2014, or slightly afterwards - we were confident we'd get there by the end of February 2014," she wrote in a post at the Raspberry Pi website.
