Loaded 9.10 it works fine but....no internet....Ethernet card looks like its identified but the connection light does not come on when cable is plugged in. Also can not identify wireless usb ..tryed netgear WG111T
Checking around to see how to manually load Ethernet card drivers and get internet access.

Works very well under PCLinuxOS running LXDE desktop. Unable to check sound due to hardware issues with this laptop and dock, but it runs fast and is very responsive.

Ubuntu 7.1, 8.04, 8.10 works great.
Upgrade to 9.04 and it won't boot. safe mode fails. Choose the middle kernel and it was fine.
