To access the pictures, do the following:
1. Edit your /etc/fstab and insert this line
/dev/sda1 /mnt/camera auto noauto,users,owner,rw 0 0
2. When you need to get pictures from the camera, just mount the /mnt/camera (with the camera connected to usb port and on :) ) and get the shoots from nautilus or another file manager that you want.
