Works great on my 2.6.26 kernel with drivers (rt2870sta, v1.3.1.0) supplied by the chipset manufacturer. The drivers may require some simple patching, though. For patches look at e.g. http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=228553
