This device is a PC Card adapter for SD, Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard, and SmartMedia. I inserted the Dazzle PC card containing a 256M Lexar SD media card into my HP Pavilion N5295 laptop running SuSE Linux 9.1 Professional and SuSE recognized the device immediately as device "/dev/hdg" for the PC card and "/dev/hdg1" for the SD card in the adapter. I used the Yast Expert Partitioner to set the mount point of the SD card (/dev/hdg1) as "/media/pc_sd". (Incidentally, the SD card was already detected with a Fat16 file system, so I choose not to format it which was the default choice, anyway.) (As root I created the mount point directory and chmod +rwx for all -- just in case.) When I applied the changes I was able to browse the media card with Konquerer.
