Works fine in 2D, but 3D very poorly.
Does not support Compiz/Beryl (compositing), with either closed or open source drivers.
3D games run very, very poorly (though they do work), performance does not come close to what you get using windows.

I'm on Ubuntu 7.04 (feisty fawn)on Abit AV8 system w/ old ATI Radeon 9000 pro. This card works good. I didn't have problem with 3D cuz I upgraded the RAM memory to 1 GB and it ran effortlessly on 3D desktop. BUT If turn on animation, and many settings. It'll slow down a bit. I don't see much problem with it.
I noticed that newer "Beta" Ubuntu 7.10 did have issue with graphic card. it works fine but the monitor did not center. I had to change the resolution and refresh rate to match Monitor's config. It works fine. but when logged off and the logon screen was off center and "large". So I haven't figure it out how to fix that log on screen issue.
