Canonical has published details of the Ubuntu Developer Summit

As per Friday's message. Canonical has announced that the next Ubuntu Developer Summit will take place from 19 - 23 June outside Paris, France.

The primary focus of this event will be for the distro team and others to gather together to concentrate on spec writing and technical planning for Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft). We are requesting that the attendees start preparing as many specs beforehand as possible. Enabling us to spend more time discussing, and approving specs, and less time on drafting.



Here are the things you need to know:

--> What:
Ubuntu Developer Summit

--> Where:
Radisson SAS, Charles de Gaulle, Paris.
The hotel is a 7 minute drive from Charles de
Gaulle airport. Note that The Radisson
provide's a courtesy bus for their clients to go
to and from the airport.

--> When:
The event will run from Monday 19th to Friday
23rd June 2006 (For those staying in the hotel
you should arrange to arrive on Sunday 18th June
and check out on the morning of Saturday 24th
June.)

--> Who:
The Ubuntu Distro Members, Sponsored Guests and
self-sponsored visitors.

Reminder that there is a limited pool available for sponsorship. Anyone is welcome to apply for sponsorship, but we will give preference to people who are active, visible, and known in the community and who are from the general geographical area.
