A press release from Mandriva:

The French Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries chooses Mandriva Corporate Server 4.0 for its servers.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries chose to migrate its local servers (about 400 machines) from Windows NT Server to Mandriva Corporate Server 4.0, within two years.

This migration comes with a complete range of personalized services (training and support). Mandriva was chosen to provide these services which will continue over a period of 18 months and will potentially involve more than 200 people in the ministry.

Corporate Server 4.0 was launched in September 2006 and is Mandriva's enterprise-level server solution. It enables the deployment of servers in just a few minutes - in any type of environment - providing enterprises and other large organizations with a simple, open and innovative distribution.

"We are delighted to have won this invitation to tender. This success validates our French public enterprises strategy and confirm the quality of CS4," said Francois Bancilhon, CEO of Mandriva.
