CRUX 2.2 Test 1 has been released

CRUX is a lightweight, i686-optimized Linux distribution targeted at experienced Linux users. The primary focus of this distribution is keep it simple, which is reflected in a straightforward tar.gz-based package system, BSD-style initscripts, and a relatively small collection of trimmed packages. The secondary focus is utilization of new Linux features and recent tools and libraries. CRUX also has a ports system which makes it easy to install and upgrade applications.

A *TEST* release of CRUX 2.2 is available for download and testing from
http://crux.nu/files/releases/pre-releases/ - it is NOT yet the final
2.2 product.

We would appreciate testing and feedback; bugs should be reported using
the bug reporting tool (flyspray) on the CRUX website
(http://crux.nu/Main/Bugs). When reporting a bug affecting the
2.2-test1 release candidate, please make sure to select "2.2-test1" in
the "Reported Version:" drop-down box when adding a new task.
