Android 4.4.4 with OpenSSL Heartbleed fix released for Google Nexus devices
The devices are: the Nexus 7 2013 WiFi model, the Nexus 10, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (WiFi), and Nexus 7 (3G).
While little detail on what the update provides was offered, Sascha Prueter, an Android program manager at Google, confirmed on his Google+ page that it contained fixes for the Heartbleed bug.
“[The update is] primarily addressing CVE-2014-0224,” he wrote, in response to a question on his profile page.
