WebKitGTK+ 2.19.1, the first development release leading toward 2.20 series has been released

What is WebKitGTK+?

WebKitGTK+ is the GNOME platform port of the WebKit rendering engine. Offering WebKit's full functionality through a set of GObject-based APIs, it is suitable for projects requiring any kind of web integration, from hybrid HTML/CSS applications to full-fledged web browsers.

What's new in the WebKitGTK+ 2.19.1 release?

- Add initial resource load statistics support.
- Add API to expose availability of certain editing commands in WebKitEditorState.
- Add API to query whether a WebKitNavigationAction is a redirect or not.
- Improve complex text rendering.
- Add support for the "system" CSS font family.
- Implement low power mode.
- Fix several crashes and rendering issues.
