GNOME 3590 Published by

USBSink 0.0.2 has been released

After a summer break and some exams, I've been getting busy again, and I'm pleased to announce that USBSink 0.0.2 is available for download from:

What it is
=========

USBSink is a GNOME program for file synchronization over USB. It is designed for users of removable drives, such as flash drives or external hard disks. The idea is to define a simple task, and then have a complete automation of data trasfers. With file monitoring and hardware detection features, USBSink is able to respond and act according to relevant events across the desktop.

Changes
======

Important:

* Settings are now stored in ~/.config/usbsink. All users should copy the contents of their ~/.usbsink directory to this new directory, so that the program can continue to use all the tasks and ignore file lists previously created.

Other than that, there has been some code and UI improvement visible as:

* Logging has been moved away from the main window and accessible through a separate dialog, with each task keeping one for itself.

* Statusbar comes alive with basic messages regarding task syncing and drive (un)mounting.
