The place to 'see' Linux and Open Source.

From OSDir.com:

Last week OSDir.com surpassed their 100th Linux and open source screenshot tour, which has become an invaluable resource to the open source community.

Last fall they joined forces with LinuxBeta.com to make OSDir's screenshot tours page a unique and outstanding service for those who want to 'see' Linux and open source applications in action. LXer.com conducted this informative interview with the founder of these screenshot tours in August of last year. "Editors of Linux news sites like LXer see a lot of new community websites come up. Most new sites are good, but occasionally you find that real jewel of a site which is unique, new, and most importantly, useful. Chris Haney's new website... is one such site.", said LXer.

These screenshot tours are an excellent supplement to written reviews of distributions and applications.

Novell.com, OpenOffice.org, UbunutLinux.org, and Linux.org are a few examples of sites that are using and referencing OSDir screenshot tours.

Many review writers now reference these screenshot tours in their articles. One of the great things about the screenshot tours is that the day of downloading ISOs then needing that extra computer, drive, or partition to have a look at it have virtually come to an end. Now it's a simple as heading over to OSDir's screenshot tours page. OSDir tries to add a different distribution to their list each time a screenshot tour is done, while keeping up with new releases. OSDir also has a forum to discuss these distribution and software releases and their screenshot tours.

So now for the goods. Here's a look at all the screenshot tours done by OSDir, from Agnula to Zesktop:
