Apart from the usual loads of bugfixing the big thing in this release is initial video support. Unfortunately this does not mean that all the video sites will play yet, but it's one step in that direction.

The usual disclaimer still applies:
Swfdec is currently in a state of heavy development, so don't be surprised if it behaves in weird ways. It might kill browsers, Kennys, kittens and maybe even monorail cats. But it will make it possible to design your Planet Freedesktop hackergotchi using completely Free Software.
