MEPISLinux.org takes a look at version 2004.02
MEPIS 2004.02 is the latest release from Warren Woodford and Team MEPIS. MEPIS is a Debian based distribution along the lines of Libranet, Linspire, and Knoppix. MEPIS stands for Managerial Education and Personal Information Systems. The Distro is a newcomer to the Linux scene having released the first version (officially) on May 10, 2003. So how is it that MEPIS has skyrocketed up into the top 10 at http://distrowatch.com as well as being listed there as one of their 10 major distributions?
