Ruffdogs acquires Bugs

Posted by Philipp Esselbach on: 03/23/2005 03:16 PM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

A press release from Ruffdogs:

Fort Collins, CO—Ruffdogs recently acquired BUGS-The Bug Genie software from zegenie Studios of Norway. BUGS, developed by Daniel A. Eikeland and Ray Jensen of Zegenie Studios, is an advanced bug tracking software written under the MPL (Mozilla Public License). The software’s exceptional features encompass a simple 3 to 4 click Bug Wizard, an integrated interface for Administrators and a support feature addressing multiple products, editions and milestones. BUGS is also a self-configurable enterprise application with a professional organized interface.

BUGS software adds to Ruffdogs strategic line-up of Linux software products aimed at achieving the highest levels of security and stability in the marketplace. Ruffdogs will make the software available through VARS (Value Added Resellers). Future releases of the BUGS software will benefit from the continued involvement of the BUGS development team in conjunction with the Ruffdogs software development team. Ruffdogs will provide all support and training for the BUGS software internationally.

“BUGS makes life easier for all software developers—its easy and quick to set up to track bugs, and BUGS lets software users automatically report bug activity back to the developers,” said Garret Acott, CEO and Co-founder Ruffdogs.

BUGS is available currently in English and Norwegian with upcoming releases in Spanish, Thai, German, French and Hebrew. For more information please contact Ruffdogs at support@ruffdogs.com or visit the website at www.ruffdogs.com.
